ESG & Impact Report 2023
2023 was a busy year for Den Sociale Kapitalfond. During the year, we managed to raise capital for our two new funds, Effekt II and Invest II, while at the same time carrying out new investments and exits. The fund and the portfolio companies under Invest I also took important steps in sustainability. You can read more about this in ESG and Impact Report 2023.
The report is the Foundation’s fourth ESG report, and we are proud of the progress achieved:

Policy for Corporate Social Responsibility and Integration of Sustainability Risks
At Den Sociale Kapitalfond, we have a policy for corporate social responsibility and integration of sustainability risks, which aims to integrate risks for sustainable transition into investment decisions and to comply with Danish and international goals and guidelines for environmental, social and economic sustainability (ESG) in general in our work.

Remuneration policy
At Den Sociale Kapitalfond, we follow a principle that the payment of special bonuses and carried interest to the fund’s employees for successful investments is conditional on both financial and social objectives being achieved. In doing so, we seek to integrate sustainability risks into the remuneration policy.
Tax matters
It is crucial for us to act as a responsible company. This applies both in relation to our own tax affairs and that the companies and initiatives we invest in and cooperate with pay the tax they are obliged to. Our tax policy describes the general guidelines, expectations and principles for our and our business partners’ actions in tax matters.
Danish and international standards
Den Sociale Kapitalfond is a member of the UN Global Compact. We have therefore committed to comply with the UN Global Compact’s 10 general principles and report annually on the work with these. We are also a member of UN PRI (Principles for Responsible Investment) and thus follow UN PRI’s 6 principles for responsible investment. We report on this annually.
