Koatek sold to Mentha

27. March 2026

Den Sociale Kapitalfond Invest has sold its stake in Koatek to the Dutch private equity fund Mentha, which has acquired a majority stake in the company. Koatek has been part of the portfolio of Den Sociale Kapitalfond Invest since 2019.

With a highly specialized workforce, a successful social impact model that combines an inclusive culture and high professionalism, ambitious ESG efforts and a fully integrated production, the company has built strong and long-lasting collaborations with leading OEM customers as a supplier of highly complex, customized mechanical components for the medical, industrial, food and energy sectors, among others. During the ownership period, Koatek has doubled its size and significantly strengthened its ESG work, including a focus on social inclusion.

The management will continue as co-owners and will together with Mentha be responsible for the further development of the company.

“We are pleased with the development Koatek has undergone during our ownership and for the collaboration we have had with the management and employees. Mentha is a very good partner for the company’s next phase of growth, not least because they support Koatek’s values and ambitions within social and environmental responsibility,” says Mads Aaen, partner, Den Sociale Kapitalfond Invest.

The parties do not wish to disclose the terms of the transaction.

Deloitte Corporate Finance and Schjødt have advised the shareholders of Koatek in connection with the sale.
