Jobs for citizens with an autism diagnosis

Ballerup Kommune, Specialisterne and Den Sociale Kapitalfond work in a partnership to get more citizens with an autism diagnosis in job in the next three years.

Why?

The number of people with an autism diagnosis has increased greatly in recent decades, and today about 1% of all Danes have an autism diagnosis. About 65% of citizens with an autism diagnosis are dependent and there is a need to ensure greater attachment to the labour market for these citizens.

What?

How?

The project runs for three years. During the entire project period, Specialisterne have the opportunity to develop tailor-made solutions for citizens so that the greatest impact is achieved in the longer term. Den Sociale Kapitalfond ensures that Specialisterne have the necessary liquidity through the project.

What do the parties get out of it?

  • Specialisterne have the time and peace of mind to give citizens the right effort without having to focus on short-term results.
  • Den Sociale Kapitalfond will have the opportunity to achieve a social and financial return in connection with our investment.
