HITSA A/S has been exited to CROWD, one of Europe's leading manufacturers of urban space furniture.

In January 2018, Den Sociale Kapitalfond Invest became the largest shareholder in HITSA, which is based in Kolding and is a leading manufacturer of urban space furniture operating in Denmark and Sweden in particular, but also in selected other countries. HITSA is a very ESG-responsible company, where social responsibility in particular has been in focus for a long time. Accordingly, in recent years, 15-20% of the Danish employees has come from the edge of the labour market.

In 2018, HITSA received and investment from Den Sociale Kapitalfond Invest and acquired VEKSØ and has since then gone through a significant development: The two organizations have been integrated, have moved to a new joint address in Kolding, production has been streamlined, product development has been strengthened and sales to both Denmark and Sweden have improved, together with HITSA developing its social responsibility and its ESG efforts in general. Through this development, the company has achieved strong results and a very solid position - with continued great growth opportunities.

CROWD, which has a European growth plan, sees the purchase of HITSA as the best possible platform for entrance and further growth in the Scandinavian market. CROWD already has a strong focus on ESG - and sees it as a significant strength that HITSA has a strong ESG profile, including a particular focus on social responsibility. HITSA continues with the same management group and as an independent company in the CROWD group.
