An investor from the classic IT investment world has just invested millions in the impact comany Precure. En investor fra den klassiske IT-investeringsverden har netop investeret et millionbeløb i impact-virksomheden Precure.

"This is an investor who has not previously invested in impact as we understand it. This is someone we have been talking to for years. He has felt the passion, that we have, to make a difference, and now he wants to join us on the journey," says CEO in Precure Finn Bech Andersen, who develops products and solutions to reduce the level of attrition in the workplace. The company was established in 2016 and is headquartered in Allinge on Bornholm.

Precure has developed the first two products to prevent repitive strain injuries, epicondylitis, and lumbar back problems both in Denmark and around the world. After lengthy development and testing work, Precure put its first core product – MLI™ Elbow on the market in 2019, while MLI™Back, which targets attrition injuries in the back, is being tested with Tryg and ISS A/S.

Both products are based on the use of artificial intelligence, which makes it possible to tailor feedback to the individual user and gives companies data-based insights into their own working environment conditions.

The new investor, who wants to remain anonymous, comes from the IT world and can thus support Precure in the development of a global subscription model for large companies – also outside Denmark' s borders.

"It is an important advantage for us that our new investor comes with a solid knowledge of software development and commercialization of subscription solutions, so that as the next step in the journey we can approach large companies in the USA and Germany first and then in other English-speaking countries, says Finn Bech Andersen.

The reason why the United States is chosen as the first export market is that the United States is a homogeneous market with uniform legislation, the same language and great maturity for online sales.

"And then there is a high frequency of the very large companies that we are targeting, which at the same time have a great business focus on working environment," explains Finn Bech Andersen.
